Companies
Before starting operations, cosmetics companies must be duly authorized by Sanitary and health authorities, which includes (i) Operating License issued by the Local Sanitary Surveillance and (ii) Company Operating Authorization (AFE ) granted by ANVISA.

Products
Products must also be subject to registration or notification, according to their degree of risk, before the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA).
